About Us

Växthuset is a plant-based restaurant founded in 2016 by Jon Birgne, located next to Skansbron in the same space as Trädgården/Under Bron. We focus on Nordic seasonal ingredients and collaborate with sustainable producers to ensure high quality and care for the environment. By foraging plants, herbs, and mushrooms directly from nature, we create meals that tell a story about our place.

Our beverage selection includes natural wines, handcrafted cocktails, beers, and carefully curated non-alcoholic options – all created with attention to both taste and sustainability.
